Knoxville!

I was a bit hesitant to go to Knoxville today because it involved both highway driving AND city driving, both of which I dread. Allison's pep talk: "It's just like driving on the 290 in Buffalo. You'll be fine." So I put on my big-girl pants and mustered up the courage to face my fears. Even though driving was, is, and will be a pain (when I drive back after posting this), I'm glad Allison encouraged me to leave my comfort zone and go see the city.

Knoxville Art Museum

You had me at "Free Admission"

I was pretty sure this larger-than-life sculpture was the creepiest thing in the museum...

...until I saw THIS guy.

and his headless horse.

This is what I look like.

The museum's best piece, an Ansel Adams photo.

World's Fair Park and the Sunsphere

The lawn was closed.

And that brings me up to date with what I've done all week. Time to gather more courage for the drive back to camp!

What a potpourri of people, places and things that you've experienced this week!

As quotes of Chaucer run through your brain, have a safe drive back to Penn ☺
